Shamanic Wisdom
The word shaman originates from the Tungus Evenki language of North Asia and means “one who knows.”
Sensuality represents the roots of life force, and sexual desire is the core impulse that brings all beings from the formless into form. The shamanic perspective regards sexuality as a symbolic representation of the energy that permeates the web of life. It may be described as the intercourse between the earth and sky, the seen and unseen.
We enter Shamanic sensual wisdom to reconnect with the sacredness of our nature and use the sensual fire ignited through pleasure as a remembrance of our greatest power. By surrendering to the wisdom of the erotic current of the universe, transmutation and transformation occur, and we can retrieve the symbolic value of a broader relationship with reality.
